For me personally, the via ferrata was a small challenge.
Unfortunately, the weather was also bad and as a very inexperienced person I was a bit scared. I would not recommend this for smaller children. Overall, the hike is correctly classified as difficult, especially in poor conditions.

The section is classified as difficulty T4 according to the Komoot route planner, which is absolutely exaggerated. It is a typical mountain hiking trail without any significant danger. You don't have to be free from giddiness, but you should be sure-footed. The short passage, which is secured with chains, does not particularly increase the level of difficulty. Anyone who has felt comfortable on the path to the chains has no problems with that either. In general, clearly T2 in terms of difficulty. The hiking maps of the GR221 also suggest this. But definitely a very nice way!

A short section of trail with rope protection. Not difficult, even doable for inexperienced hikers. We hiked it in 2017 and had a lady with us who had never been in alpine terrain before. She managed it effortlessly. Nevertheless, please proceed with caution. Sturdy footwear should always be worn when hiking.
