Piani d’Erna is a wonderful place to visit and can be reached by cable car or on foot, the difference in altitude is 700 D+ in Difficulty: E
At the top of the cable car there are two refreshment points, one is the Milani bar trattoria and the other is the historic Rifugio Marchett. There is also plenty of space for a nice picnic at the foot of the Resegone.

The 1366 meter high Pizzo d'Erna promontory offers a breathtaking view over the eastern end of the Y arm of Lake Como and the city of Lecco. All around there are many hiking opportunities.
It can be reached via the cableway from Lecco to the Piani d'Erna.
