    The restaurant is really very nice and the food was awesome. A huge thank you to the chef. I couldn't have made the shank of lamb better. Then the view of the Ilm valley is wonderful. It's worth stopping in.

      There has been a tavern at this point for over 100 years, which was later expanded into an inn. The memorial stone with the original name "Güntsches Ruh" still bears witness to this.

                              If the balsam has closed or the most beautiful places are already occupied right at the window with a view to Buchfart, then there is a good rustic rest area opposite the inn - provided you still have something in the backpack :-)
