The cozy, rustically designed "Alte Moorhütte" restaurant is located directly on the north side of Lake Steinhude and is a popular stop for hikers and cyclists. Larger groups will also find plenty of space both in the house and in the garden.

The oak tree, whose trunk runs right through the dining room, is a unique feature. The menu at the "Alte Moorhütte" offers typical regional specialties.
