The café is no longer there, but on the third Sunday of the month (from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) the friends' association opens the water mill and you get all questions about the mill answered, its history and the technology explained. Those who wish can also visit the Heinrich Schmidt Barrien Archive. On this occasion there will also be homemade cakes and drinks. Admission is free. The interior of the mill is very comfortably furnished, but sitting outside on the small terrace right by the Hache and listening to the rush of the brook is really idyllic.
