The former monastery is a two-story building with the baroque chapel of St. Anna, which also served as accommodation for the monks. Its slate-covered gable roof
has a wooden roof turret with a final onion hood. Inside the chapel there are tendril stucco on the vault and ceiling as well as a baroque high altar by Cosmas Damian Asam from 1728. The chapel can be visited on Sundays in summer.

Saint Anne is the mother of Mary, the mother of God, who is not attested in the biblical texts, i.e. the grandmother of Jesus Christ. But it is mentioned in apocryphal (that is, not included in the canon of the Bible) writings, for example in the so-called "Protoevangelium of James". There is no historically reliable knowledge about Anna's life, but there are numerous traditional stories that are summarized, for example, in the medieval "Legenda Aurea" by the Dominican monk Jacobus de Voragine. Among other things, she is the patroness of Anna's Church in Düren (North Rhine-Westphalia), where a piece of her skull is kept as a relic.
In the church calendar, the day of remembrance of St. Anne - together with her husband Joachim - is on July 26th.
