One of the most famous places in Val Badia (and which causes the most anger because it is almost always closed). In any case, I advise you to set your destination on Malga Valparola when you want a simple and relaxing excursion. The view you can enjoy from here is beautiful and the climb up the dirt road can even be tackled with a stroller; for a normal person it's 30 minutes.

I recommend getting there after crossing the Armentarola meadows (bus stop of the same name). And for those who want a full day excursion for the whole family, start from La Villa on foot and follow the Artists' path until you reach the Malga, then return... if you are tired the buses run every hour.

For hikers looking for something new, however, I recommend heading towards Sciaré for a nice circular tour or extending even further towards the Valparola pass.
