Hm.
The parking garage is lousy expensive (out of memory: about 20 € for about 3 hours). And if you feel the bumping in Camogli, Santa Margherita, etc. as something stagnant. Portofino lays it on again.
The small town is looked at quickly and not as picturesque as the villages of the Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre is better than five times Portofino.
But maybe we only got one bad day back then. I will correct myself here should we actually go there again.

We were there in the morning, when it was still quite relaxed. Towards midday it got busier. The only parking garage costs 8 euros per hour. I think that's really expensive. That's probably why a lot of people walk there, but it's about 4 km from the next town, and sometimes along the narrow road. Portofino is still worth a trip. It's best to get there early.

However, we much prefer Portovenere.
