There have been plans for more flood protection not only since the flood of the century in 2013. Now there is visible construction work. On the right bank there is a flood protection wall built in 2018-2019 with an earth wall in front of it. On the left bank, the no longer stable wall has been replaced by a new, higher protective wall since 2020, just like at the Hofgut.
