      Nothing for weak nerves! The observation deck 5fingers offers adrenalin kicks at the highest level. The most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps towers like a hand into a 400-meter deep abyss.

      On five differently designed bars, the Five Fingers, you have the opportunity to prove your head for heights and to enjoy unique views of Lake Hallstatt and the Inner Salzkammergut.

      The five different bars each four times a meter provide spectacular views and views. For example, one of the footbridges is entirely made of glass, on another, visitors can use a large, baroque picture frame to make their own framed world heritage picture of Hallstatt.
      The "5fingers" are illuminated until midnight and can also be seen at night from afar.

      But not only the viewing platform but also the way there with special features. The adventure trail from the mountain station of the cable car to the Pionierkreuz includes, in addition to the 5fingers, another viewing platform. The WeltNATUR heritage view above the Krippenstein Lodge offers the ideal view of the two Dachstein glaciers. The hike to Pioneer Cross can be done for (almost) all visitors in 20 minutes without hesitation!
