The "Slinky Springs to Fame" bridge in the Oberhausen Kaisergarten was inaugurated in 2011. An unusual name for an even more unusual bridge: the accessible bridge sculpture by the Frankfurt artist Tobias Rehberger, which creates a connection between the Kaisergarten Oberhausen and the Emscher Island as part of the EMSCHERKUNST, is one of the architectural highlights in the Ruhr area.

The bridge is based on the typical spiral toy and fits with its colorful floor design totally well in the image of the environment.
The bridge is 406 m long and 62 m of which hang freely in 10m height over the Rhine-Herne-Kanal.
You must have used them once, even if it is only for pedestrians. ;-)
