Near Castiglione dei Pepoli there is a particularly interesting and beautiful place of worship to see. This is the splendid Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine di Boccadirio. The structure dates back to the 16th century and has been modified several times over the course of history. In fact, two parts were added in the 18th century to complete the magnificent architectural work. Visiting the sanctuary, you can in fact notice the presence of a large loggia and the beautiful cloister, which emphasize the artistic qualities of the building.

A holiday in Castiglione dei Pepoli offers the opportunity to fully enjoy the contact with nature. In fact, around the village you can visit areas where the vegetation thrives and the air becomes particularly pure.

In the Regional Park of the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes there are two beautiful artificial lakes, around which thirty kilometers of spectacular paths wind, immersed in nature. In this area of the Bolognese Apennines you can walk among the trees or make beautiful tours on a mountain bike.
