The beautification club Obernsees, which was founded on 7.7.1972 as a tourist and local beautification club, had the idea to build an observation platform on the Knock. The construction of a log cabin, the Knockhütte, developed from the platform in pile construction during construction. The hut is now a popular destination for hikers to enjoy the view of the Neuburg and to make a leisurely stop. Catering is on Sundays and public holidays. Otherwise, the cabin can be rented for private events.

The Knockhütte is located at 517 meters on the Knock, a 547 meter high White Jura elevation that has been a nature reserve since 1997. The stilt hut, which can accommodate 30 people, and the annex with 50 seats and a barbecue area offer a great opportunity for a rest.

The Knockhütte of VV Obernsees is located at 517 meters above sea level on the Knock and offers a magnificent view.
The 30-seat pile dwelling is farmed on Sundays and public holidays from 10.00-22.00 clock by the club members.
Here you can get cool drinks and enjoy a hearty snack in the rustic hut. Enjoy the beautiful view over a cup of coffee and a piece of cake or cake (afternoon after quotation).

I can remember great party nights there. Since the hut is rented out, you really have a nice party location up here.
The Obernsees Beautification Association hosts the hut every Sunday.
A drinks machine, e-bike station, hiking maps and a parking lot complete the offer

Beautifully situated hut with a fantastic view. They serve delicious homemade cakes and snack platters. Bringing your own food is also no problem. When it's cold, you can sit comfortably inside the hut, and it's heated.
