Unfortunately, the juniper has gotten a bit old and many other bushes are slowly overgrowing the rocky slope. Once again, sheep were to graze in order to continue to secure the foundation for the juniper heath.

Beautiful section through the rocky "wonderland" between Wonsees and Kleinhül with rare juniper heaths, open fields and a winding meadow valley.

I agree with the opinion of Söhni. The slope is now overgrown and will exist in two years at most still as Juniper coppice. Sheep and goats! are no longer sufficient for the slope to the Naturierung. Here is now exposure necessary.
Edit: In earlier times, the shepherds regularly cut out large juniper trees and sold them to smiths for butchers.
Much more beautiful is currently the 2 km south parallel running small valley "juniper heath Kainach".
