The Tranum-Fosdal hiking trail is a fantastic 11 km circular route. It starts at the forest playground in Tranum. The trail leads from Tranum over Jammerbugten's highest point, Bavnehøj (83.4 meters above sea level) and further over Ingeborgs Bakker (hills) to Fosdalen, a beautiful little canyon with beautiful vegetation and mystical trees. As you continue, you will be guided along the cliff edge with wonderful views of the sea and the coastline.

The trail can be shortened - there are 5 signposted shortcuts along the trail, e.g. 2.7 km, 6 km or 7 km.

Tranum-Fosdal

Heathland, meadows, diverse forests, gorges and wide views are the ingredients for this extraordinary premium trail. The Tranum-Fosdal hiking route leads from Tranum over the highest point of Jammer Bay, Bavnehøj and on via Ingeborgs Bakker (hill) to Fosdalen, a wonderful little gorge with wonderful vegetation and mystical trees. In the further course you will be guided along the cliff edge with wonderful views of the sea and the coastline. The unexpectedly hilly relief requires some stamina.
