During the construction of the reservoir, the figure of the "stoanerne Steffl" from the 17th or 18th century was moved to the vicinity of Eixendorf 5. This sculpture is the life-size figure of a bearded naked man, the loins are wrapped with a wreath of leaves, a tree trunk in the right hand, the left hand placed on the broad chest. It resembles the wild men in the coat of arms on the east side of the Neunburg town hall. Initially, the figure stood on a bridge over the Schwarzach opposite the sculpture of a female fish. This bridge collapsed during a flood in 1784 or 1824, with the female figure being lost. The male figure was then integrated into the wall of a mill until the reservoir was built.
Since December 2019 it has been back on the banks of the Eixendorfer reservoir.
