    The small Weilerbach Castle was once built as a summer residence for the abbots of Echternach Abbey. Construction was completed in 1780, but just a few years later, the castle was confiscated by the French government and sold to a private owner.

    After it was damaged in World War II, renovation work only began in the 1980s. Today, the castle's rooms are used for cultural events and concerts.

    The magnificently landscaped garden, designed in a French style, is also particularly beautiful. The small coach house houses a cozy museum café.

          The castle was built in 1714. After artillery fire in World War II it was empty in the following years. In 1991, the acquisition was carried out by the Lanskreis Bitburg, this restored the plant.

          The museum café is open from Easter to mid-October daily from 11am to 6pm.

                  Very good starting point for hikes. I would be happy to recommend the Remise museum cafe to others. When it's open, there are delicious cakes, and the goulash soup is also recommended.
