A gondola lift runs from Kriens up to Fräkmüntegg. From there, the cable car takes you up to Pilatus. At the Fräkmüntegg, bikers, hikers, day trippers and tourists from far away are offered all sorts of things. There is a wide range of leisure activities available for children and adults alike. Tobogganing, rope park, hang-gliding and and and...
Unfortunately, all of this has its downside. There's a lot going on locally.
Those who can ignore this are offered a wonderful maritime view over Lake Lucerne and its surrounding mountains.
