At the large hiking car park "Am Karpfen". A large board points to a variety of hiking opportunities in the surrounding forests.

We follow the road until a path turns right towards the fish ponds. We follow this over a covered wooden bridge to the fish ponds.

Arrived at the church pond we come across an observation tower. From here we have a view of the Evangelisches Jugendheim, which is on the opposite side.

If a detail of the path around the Ahlhorn fish ponds had been missing, it would have been such a beautiful, covered bridge. But thank God it is already there. so just drive through, or go through and enjoy. The view and the view are quite magical.
