Welcome to the
Ahlhorn pond farm
The natural oasis in the northwest
Where there were previously heaths, moors and sand dunes, ponds and ditch systems were created by hand at the end of the 19th century: the beginning of the Ahlhorn pond farm. The State Cultural Fund, an authority of the then Oldenburg State Ministry, commissioned it, and today it is part of the Ahlhorn Forestry Office.
