Wonderful view of the Esterweger Dose. The protected area (since December 2005) high moorland is the remainder of a once huge bog, which was divided into several sub-areas.

The viewing point is easy to reach by bike. You can easily push past the entrance gate on the B 401 and then cycle along the paved moor path to the viewing point. The view of the 4,500 hectares with the 8 towers of the naval radio station in the background is very impressive. Don't forget your binoculars. It's worth it 👍
