Wonderful, managed alp located right at the foot of the Kampenwand climbing pass and right next to the mountain station of the Kampenwand cable car. This is where you meet before you climb the last few meters to the mountain.

The Steinling Alm is in a great location with very beautiful views of the Chiemgau. Even for inexperienced hikers, it can be easily reached from the Kampenwandbahn. Closed on Mondays, but in June 2022 it was open on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. when the weather was nice.
Also very nice inside with a cozy tiled stove. Very rustic.

An easy hike, suitable for children but not wheelchair-accessible. Self-service, plenty of space, including outdoors, and good, quick food, even when there are lots of visitors.
