Great view, not quite as crowded. If you are not mountain-hard, it is best to go back the same way, since the northern path is a bit wilder and steeper.

Even from here you have a great view of the Chiemsee and the rise is not as strenuous as on the Kampenwand Ostgipfel. Also easy to create for children.

The Sulten can be reached from the Steinlingalm hut relatively easily and without great additional meters of altitude. On the Sulten you have a relatively unobstructed view of the Chiemsee and the entire surrounding area - see pictures.

Going up from the northern side is quite steep. From the southern side (from the direction of Steinlingalm) it goes flatter or up, depending on which direction you come from. From the south the path is full of stones and rubble. Once you are at the top, you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view. On the south side the striking Kampenwand with its east face summit cross and to the north the foothills of the Alps with its lakes Chiemsee and Simssee. The summit is fairly flat. If you're afraid of heights, this peak is pretty harmless.
