The listed castle park with gondola pond is located in the historic center of Großharthau. Its history is closely linked to the Saxon court of the 18th century. The commissioner, Countess von Fleming, had the park richly decorated with sculptural ornaments, fountains and orangeries.
In the 19th century, the park was landscaped and later redesigned in a neo-baroque style. The baroque basic structure of the garden, laid out in three terraces, is worth mentioning.
