The Mirtinishof in Klingenhof is one of the oldest farms in Franconia (first documented mention in 1364). He is named after St. Martin. The framework is built in the construction of the so-called double wild man. The eye-catching colorful painting corresponds to the former façade coloring, which came to light during the renovation and can now be seen again under the supervision of the monument protection. Above the entrance area a coat of arms. The plow with its two main components is shown, the ploughshare (symbol wide horizontal arrow), with which the plaice was replaced horizontally, and the Messersech (symbol vertical knife), which separates the detached and to be turned Erdbalken vertically from the unpotted country.

In the Nuremberg countryside you can discover several facades covered with colorful speckles. The buildings date back to the first half of the 19th century. It could therefore be that the craftsmen were inspired by older kitchen paintings. The actual models for this are, however, to be seen in the baroque fashion of jasper, a process in which paint splashes are applied to a monochrome façade surface. The facade design is always subject to a need to represent.
