The Teufelskirche is a gorge in the Rhät Sandstone and an adventure playground in a mystical world. The path through the gorge leads in some places over wooden bridges or stone blocks to make any progress. Sometimes you sink to the ankles in the mud, waterproof footwear is advisable and good sure-footedness is necessary. At the end of the gorge, a small waterfall flows down the layers of sandstone. At the waterfall, stairs lead into the gorge and an information board has been installed. At the foot of the rock formations at the waterfall, some tunnels up to 70 meters long testify to attempts to mine lignite and silver.

Really impressive in winter. I think it's even more beautiful here than at the sounding waterfall. Just because of the further path into the gorge. In winter when temperatures are below zero, Grödeln is recommended as it is very slippery.

No matter what time of year, the gorge is always an adventurous challenge for anyone who doesn't mind mud and dirt. It seems to be fun for hikers of all ages. All ages can climb, slide and slide here🥾. Some even manage to stay clean 🤔😄.

Unfortunately some of the many nature lovers detached condition. Little Beforstung, many children playing (excavations, from the broken branches built houses etc). The paths through the ravine are only something for sporty and urgent need to be repaired. Nevertheless a breathtaking place with a lot of magic!
