The New Summer Palace is an imperial palace. It is located in northwest Beijing a few hundred meters west of the ruins of the Old Summer Palace. He is one of the highlights of Chinese garden art, although he was repeatedly destroyed and had to be rebuilt. Today it is one of the big tourist magnets in the Chinese capital and since 1998 UNESCO World Heritage.

Summer Palace. The summer residence of the Chinese emperors. Super nice and well-kept facility. Especially in the spring so in late March and early April when the trees are in full bloom.
