The Schünebusch in Estorf, which is located in a light oak forest, is the historic barn area of the village: to prevent the risk of fire, the farmers had once built their barns outside the village. So a big fire would either destroy the dwelling or sowing and harvesting, but not both. Today there are nine of these barns in the "Schünebusch". They house the museum of local history with various exhibitions (agricultural implements, peasant home decor, bakery, history of the village) and the "Radler-Scheune", in which groups -on advance notice- can set up a rustic bed and breakfast. In recent years, with great commitment from the home association in the course of village renewal extensively restored, today make mainly bike tourists and bus tour groups in Schünebusch station and enjoy there after old recipe and freshly baked in the original oven butter cake. In addition, special celebrations and actions of the village community take place in the Schünebusch at irregular intervals. The outdoor area is constantly accessible.
