If you had to choose between the concrete bridge and the baroque Pöppelmann Bridge, it would be clear.
It's a shame that such architecture no longer exists.

Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann was a German baroque and rococo architect. He was in the service of Elector August the Strong of Saxony and shaped the Dresden Baroque. His most famous work is the Dresden Zwinger.

The bridge was planned by the well-known Baroque builder Pöppelmann and built in 1719. Unfortunately destroyed by the once-in-a-century flood. Of the former six archways, only four remain. The bridge was reconstructed with a steel structure.
