A nice place to stay. You pay a small fee as entry, but there is a small interactive exhibition on the forest theme, aquariums, a nice little café with a nice terrace, a petting zoo, pony rides, an enclosure with cute prairie dogs and clean toilets.

Picturesquely located in Berlin's Wuhlheide, the Haus Natur und Umwelt offers school classes, day care and after-school care groups the opportunity to experience nature up close on a 17,000 square meter site. During the holidays and at weekends, the animals and the extensive facilities are available to families with children. The house, which is open all year round, combines a zoo (approx. 500 animals) with a natural history exhibition.

Very rewarding! There is also a large playground and aquariums. The children can make bread on a stick, do handicrafts, ride the nearby park railway (narrow-gauge railway) or visit the FEZ (leisure and recreation center).
