The Fattigsmühle is a great spot for a rest. Here you can refresh yourself in the cozy beer garden and strengthen. For climbing enthusiasts, the Fattigsmühle has a very special highlight ready: At the mill there is a huge climbing rock with about 40 climbing routes and about 20 for bouldering.

Unfortunately I came over there outside the opening hours ... but looked really comfortable.
There was also a small well (no drinking water) where I could cool off / refresh on a hot day 😉

The Fattigsmühle was once a knight's seat, then a mill. It dates from 1677 and was a knight's seat with the name Der kleine Saalenstein. In the Middle Ages, the Dobenck family owned several properties in the area around Hof, for example in Rudolphstein and also the Fattigsmühle. The Zedtwitzer nobility was also settled there. The half-timbered house is very well preserved, the former mill is not functional, but has been preserved. The building and the adjoining room are under monument protection. [1] Today the Fattigsmühle is a monument and a restaurant with a beer garden.
But unfortunately everything was closed because the restaurant is being rebuilt ..
