An imposing hat house could be built around 1750 thanks to constant extraction of ore in the first half of the 18th century. This relatively large building was built as a half-timbered building on a massive basement, like the buildings in the colliery village. In 1830 the hat house received a roof turret with a weather vane, which is still completely intact today. In general, this building is one of the few in Saxony where the external original substance has been preserved and is still immaculately cared for for posterity. The flood damage that occurred in 2002 has been almost forgotten thanks to extensive renovation work! The Huthaus is also the only remaining day building of the entire mine complex today, if you don't include the colliery village in this thought! Apart from the silted up mine canal, the fragments of the upper artifical ditch, some heaps in the farming village and the ponds that are still in use today, almost nothing is left of the mining. Even the heaps at the art and drift shaft from the "New Hope of God" have disappeared over time.
