The home starting point of the Marl balloon sports club is located on the Nonnenbusch street in Marl-Lenkerbeck. Depending on the weather conditions (usually in the early morning or late afternoon), visitors can experience the start of balloons here. The balloonists' motto is: Float almost silently, steer gently through the wind and don't know where the journey is headed.
