In 2015 the city church celebrated its 400th birthday. It was built between 1611 and 1615. Until today it has been redesigned several times. It is one of the pilgrimage stations on the Sigwardsweg. Further information at: stadtkirchengemeinde-bueckeburg.de.

The Bückeburg Palace Chapel is the chapel of the Bückeburg Palace in Bückeburg in the Schaumburg district. It is part of the historic castle building and was first mentioned in 1396. It remained in the same place for all conversions and redesigns. It received its extensive mannerism decorations in the first quarter of the 17th century. It is used for worship by the Protestant-reformed community of Bückeburg-Stadthagen.

In the center behind him, above a row of niches structured with Corinthian columns, is the broad, carved and gilded pulpit with the reliefs of Annunciation to Mary, Adoration of the Child Jesus and Crucifixion of Christ. On the opposite wall is the richly carved and gilded royal box, below it a large-format painting The Last Judgment. The hearts of some members of the Princely House are buried under the floor in front of the altar steps; the bodies rest in the mausoleum Stadthagen or in the mausoleum Bückeburg.
