1882 created the Hanoverian architect Hermann Schaedtler (* 1858, † 1931) on behalf of Prince George of Schaumburg (* 1817, † 1893), a first draft for the "New Palace". Architecturally, the building is primarily attributed to historicism. With this style of construction at that time the attempt should be made to revive traditional styles of architecture such as the neo-Romanesque, Neo-Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and the New Baroque to life again. The floor plan of the palace is an elongated rectangle. The large round tower rises 56 meters in total. On the southern side of the building (park side) is the balcony lined with balustrades. The built-up natural stones come from the Obernkirchen quarry, which is known worldwide for its very own texture and color of its sandstone. On the north side of the palace is the generously arranged main portal, whose windows as well as those of the upper hall are faded in the course of the return to antique building traditions with pilasters. From the magnificent foyer of the middle wing, the imposing main staircase leads to the upper floor of the upper storey. Framed by a total of 16 columns. When the client died in May 1893, the planning of the building was temporarily interrupted. But already on June 25, 1893 gave the prince widow Hermine Schaumburg-Lippe (* 1827, † 1910) the construction contract. Towards the end of 1896, the building was finally ready for occupancy in its entirety. In 1960, Dipl.Chem. Dr. Kurt Blindow of the palace as a school building, which was sold in 1969 by the Prince of Schaumburg -Lippe to the family Blindov. To this day, the Palais serves the schools. Kurt Blindow as a training center for natural-technical assistants.
