Over the Rauenstein runs a secured ridge path with magnificent views in all directions. Ideal to view the bastion from the other side of the Elbe. Small mountain inn is also available. Seen from below, he is often underestimated, but it really worth it.

One of the most beautiful rock formations in Saxon Switzerland! The magnificent summit ridge path bears some resemblance to the Schrammstein ridge path. Those who don't want to climb the many steps at the front can simply take the gently ascending path from the back to the rock and stop at the cozy mountain restaurant at the end of the ridge trail or summit tour. The steps then quickly lead back down.
