    Small waterfall in the idyllic Nossengrund with its steep slopes. Particularly romantic, the small platform with a spacious and comfortable bench on the side above the slope, with a great view of the waterfall. Great place to enjoy an extensive picnic there.

                                  The forgotten waterfall was rediscovered in 2018 during clearing work in the Nossengrund. High seat, catwalks, bee hotel, nesting boxes, children's play area, benches, signage and last but not least the very impressive suspension bridge were recreated by the hard-working workers and also by many sponsors.

                                  Hundreds of curious people now choose the Amsell Falls as a popular destination and enjoy the great atmosphere.

                                  The Amselfall can be reached either via Quirla in the direction of Dorna. Pass the Quirla cemetery, cross under the motorway bridge and then turn left for about 100 meters into Nossengrund.

                                  Variant 2 via Zeitzgrund and turn right at the forest playground in Nossengrund. Both paths are excellently signposted.

                                  Already 100 years ago, children and adults from Quirla and Dorna bathed in this wonderfully beautiful spot. The spa guests, who were curing in the former climatic health resort of Stadtroda, also made regular trips through the Zeitzgrund to the Amselfall.
