The Cathedral of San Lorenzo is the fulcrum of the city of Alba, it is located on the main square, Piazza Risorgimento. If you look closely at the facade from left to right, you will notice 4 figures: an Angel, a Lion, an Ox and an Eagle, symbols of the four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Now take the initials of the 4 elements and join them; here you give life to the name of the city: ALBA.
