The spacious park, centrally located in Essen and in the Ruhr area, offers the best opportunities for recreational activities for all generations and in every season. Experience nature, visit events or simply take a break from everyday life. The Grugapark Essen emerged from the Great Ruhr Land Horticultural Exhibition in 1929 and, with its 600,000 square meters, is certainly one of the largest and most attractive amusement parks in Europe.

The landscape park with its old and valuable trees is one of the most memorable surprises in the Ruhr area.
