Important pedestrian and bicycle traffic connection between Fürstenried, Waldfriedhof and Südpark / Sendling via busy arterial roads. In 1969 the "Verkehrsbauwerk Kreuzhof" was the first transport structure in Bavaria to be awarded the BDA Prize for Architects - an important document in modern architectural history. At that time, by the way, just under 350,000 vehicles were registered in Munich, 50 years later the number was around 830,000, almost 2.5 times as much.
