                  The Dittersdorfer Höhe is one of the most striking vantage points in the Lower Ore Mountains and offers the best view of the Lower Ore Mountains in the vicinity of Chemnitz. To the south, when visibility is good, the view extends to Jelení hora, Pöhlberg, Bärenstein, Klínovec, Fichtelberg and Scheibenberg, among others. To the east, you can see the Augustusburg, to the north, the Adelsberg and, in the far distance, the Treppenhauer near Sachsenburg. In addition, to the northwest, when visibility is good - even without optical aids - you can see the silhouette of the Lippendorf power station, almost 65 km away. To the west, the view extends into the Chemnitz Basin.

                      Breathtaking views extend far beyond Dittersdorf to the upper Ore Mountains, including, on clear days, the Haßberg, Pöhlberg, Bärenstein, Keilberg, Fichtelberg, and Scheibenberg.
                      With a rest area and the Royal Saxon Triangulation Station, built in 1869.
                      New to the Dittersdorfer Höhe is the sculpture "Two Woven into One Another" by conceptual artist Olaf Holzapfel. The sculpture consists of an approximately 14-meter-high wooden tower and is reminiscent of trigonometric towers used for surveying purposes throughout Saxony's history. Olaf Holzapfel, born in Dresden in 1967, explores the relationship between humans, nature, and space in his work.
