Its many small bridges make the Reguliersgracht one of the most beautiful in Amsterdam. It was opened in 1664 and is named after an old monastery nearby. Explore this idyllic waterway either by boat or stroll along the shore. The Amsterdam canals are as romantic by day as they are by night and there is nothing better than cycling through the illuminated canals in the evening.

In 1971, the 007 film "Diamond Fever" was filmed in Amsterdam in the Reguliersgracht, among others. Bond goes to number 36 in the movie, he rings the bell and talks to Mrs. Case. Further information can be read here:

The beautiful canal, dug in 1664, runs from the Rembrandtplein and Thorbeckeplein southwards across the ring of canals. It offers one of the most beautiful perspectives of the Amsterdam canals. From the bridge at Kerkstraat you can see all seven bridges of the Reguliersgracht.
