    The south bank of the Mühlenbecker Lake is easily reached from the hiking car park Dammsmühle. Nearby is the castle of the same name directly on the "little brother" of the lake, the Mühlenbecker pond.

      A very idyllic lake in the north of Berlin, it is very quiet, you hardly meet people and can enjoy nature. A narrow footpath leads around the lake, two times a small river has to be crossed.

      It is best to start from the nearby district of Summt. There are also several rest stops for conclusion.

                                    Through the forest again, we return to Lake Mühlenbeck.

                                    We walk along the quaint waterfront path through the undergrowth, sometimes having to search for the path.

                                    The path now turns into a high-bank path.

                                    In the undergrowth, we see two grass snakes slithering parallel to each other.
                                    There's hardly a chance to capture them in a photo.

                                    We continue along the path around the lake, repeatedly leading us up and down, over hill and dale, along the water.
