Hardly any other fountain house has been looked after as well as the Popperöder fountain house in the centuries after its construction. After there had been a fountain festival in Mühlhausen since the beginning of the 17th century, the source of the Poppenröder Bach was framed and the adjoining house was built. A place that is still absolutely magical today.
