                    The Breitfelsen is made of porphyry. This is a very hard rock. The path over here has a small, steep passage. It is good to use your hands there. At the top you have a reasonably good view. It is not the best viewing rock. What is special is the short climb.

                    A longer and more challenging section on the same rock can be found further southeast at the Karlsruher Grat. It has the same history and is around 400 meters long.
