06.16.2022 _ Ring tour of the lakes from Saretto in 3 days with tent, very, very beautiful and exciting. It requires adequate physical preparation for the considerable differences in altitude (approximately 1,600m on the first day) as well as a reasonable ability to balance for the paths which are often steep and unstable. Presence of water sources as reported and frequent bivouacs as well as very welcoming shelters such as the Valmaggia bivouac and the Champeyron refuge.
!!!ATTENTION!!! From the Terre Nere pass DO NOT CONTINUE towards Brec de l'Homme if you are not an expert mountaineer with adequate equipment: the path traced on the map is NOT signposted, except with RARE cairns, and very often you lose track of it. There aren't even any nails to continue climbing and if you start to climb, or even descend towards the Col du Martinet, it becomes impossible to go back due to the steepness and landslide not only of the gravel but of the rock itself which comes off in blocks on cliffs of 400m minimum.
I highly recommend the REMOVAL of this track or a particular sign so as not to put other hikers in difficulty.
Alternatively, to conclude the circular tour from the Terre Nere pass, you can descend from the chain that starts from it towards the Valle dell'Infernetto. Although this section is marked on the map in the exact same way as the one mentioned above, at least it is marked by the presence of a chain which significantly helps the descent, despite remaining a section of considerable difficulty.
Overall, a ride that really deserves, being very careful.
