Beinn an Dòthaidh is one of the Bridge of Orchy Munros, a quintet of mountain peaks that signal a shift in character from the gentler giants of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park to the rockier mountains that characterise the West Highlands. The four that overlook the vast Rannoch Moor are sometimes referred to as the Great Wall of Rannoch.

Beinn an Dòthaidh is a 3,294-foot (1,004 m) Munro in the Scottish Highlands. It’s often climbed alongside Beinn Dorain from Bridge of Orchy. You can't really make a circular out of the day, so a 'T' shaped route with the re-tracing of some steps is required. However, the views are magnificent, so it's well worth it.
There are three summit tops along Beinn an Dòthaidh's curved ridge and the true Munro summit is the middle of the three.

The summit lies at NN 33180 40860 and is marked by a rather small cairn. Views north when clear are fantastic, right across Rannoch Moor and to Ben Nevis.
It is worth doing Beinn Dorain in a circuit here too.
