The Klein Köriser See is a naturally formed body of water in the area of the municipality of Groß Köris in the Dahme-Spreewald district.

The lake belongs to the chain of lakes Teupitz, which extends from the Teupitz lake in the west to the Dahme in the east, and is located in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park. It extends in a north-easterly arc with a water surface of 158 hectares. The inflow comes from the Kleiner Moddersee over the Moddergraben from the west, the outflow over the Hölzernen See below the federal highway 179. The water lies northeast of the community center of Groß Köris.

The office of Schenkenländchen has designated a 15 km long circular hiking trail around the lake, which leads from Groß Köris via Neubrück and Klein Köris and is marked with a green dot on a white background. The capital portal berlin.de describes it as one of the “most beautiful hiking routes in Brandenburg”.

The Klein Köriser See is part of the Teupitz-Köriser chain of lakes with more than ten interconnected bodies of water and is part of the Dahme Heideseen Nature Park. The bathing area at Klein Köriser See is located directly on the youth hostel grounds, access is via the road to the youth hostel. Parking is available directly in front of the entrance to the youth hostel. The Klein Köriser See has a water surface of 158 ha, the deepest point at 10.90 m is in the north-west of the water. There are two small islands in the elongated and slightly curved lake, one of them directly opposite the bathing area. No dogs are allowed on this bathing beach.
The water quality of the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health department in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and has excellent water quality.
