The Imperial Baths are the monumental remains of a large-scale planned late Roman bath complex and later cavalry barracks, which have been preserved in the center of the Rhineland-Palatinate city of Trier. The building with its partly still 19 meters high walls is one of the largest Roman spas north of the Alps and since 1986 part of the UNESCO World Heritage in Trier. As a cultural monument, the building is a listed building since 1989 and is considered a cultural asset according to the Hague Convention. Despite their intended size, the never-completed imperial baths would not have been Trier's largest bathing establishments, since they were surpassed by the much older Barbara Baths. Today, the grounds of the spa are designated as Archaeological Park.
