The iconostasis (16th century) is a prime example of Venetian carving. The royal door in the middle is flanked by two marble columns with Gothic capitals.
The sarcophagus of St. Mamas, above whom the legend is depicted in a small series of pictures. The coffin was washed ashore in the Bay of Mórfou, found by a farmer and, according to a vision, a monastery was built here.
